Parent Meeting/Audition Workshop:
Tuesday, February 11th & Thursday, February 13th
5:30pm - 7:30pm
Parents: We are asking you to join us for a brief information session at the start of each audition workshop. During this session we will be able to answer any questions you have about the rehearsal/performance process, update you on some changes we are making to the program, and introduce you to our instructors. The information session shouldn't last more than 15 minutes and will begin promptly at 5:30pm.
We are offering two audition workshops for our production of Mary Poppins Jr. Participants will be able to sign up for ONE of the audition workshops during the registration process. During the Workshop students will:
Learn the fundamentals of auditioning
Explore tips and tricks to bring their audition to life
Rehearse their audition piece with peers
Receive feedback from our instructors
Audition in a fun, comfortable, low pressure setting
Student will receive an audition packet with monologue and song options prior to the workshops - memorization is optional but encouraged. ALL students will be a part of the production and will have the opportunity to audition for speaking parts and solos - auditions are for placement purposes only!
If you have questions about the audition process, please email Kate Mellitz or Adele Jones at firstname.lastname@example.org.
